Science

Science is taught through a range of practical experiences and opportunities at Ribby with Wrea.  The children are encouraged to be inquisitive about the world around them and to ask questions about what they see and experience.  

During KS1 the children explore topics such as Materials, Life cycles of animals and plants, Animals, Seasons, Plants.

During KS2 these concepts are built on and children also explore topics such as Rocks and Soils, Light, Sound, Electricity and Space.
