Welcome

Welcome from Mrs Sharp

“At Ribby with Wrea, we understand the uniqueness of all our pupils and encourage them to fulfil their potential. God is at the heart of our loving, inclusive family. We want all who learn and work here, and within our community, to experience the joy and hope of ‘Life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10).”

So reads our school vision statement, and it guides everything we do.

Nestled in the beautiful village of Wrea Green, Ribby With Wrea C.E. Endowed Primary School sits at the heart of a thriving and supportive community. We are proud to welcome families from the village and surrounding areas, creating a warm and vibrant school family where every child is known, valued and loved.

We are a small school with a heart and a legacy. Our history dates back to 1693, and we are immensely proud of the traditions and values that continue to shape our school today. This rich heritage provides children with unique learning experiences and a strong sense of belonging, helping them to grow in confidence and thrive both academically and personally.

At Ribby With Wrea, we believe every child can achieve broadly as well as excel in an area for which they have developed a passion. Guided by our Christian vision, we provide an education that is caring, purposeful and ambitious, nurturing children's talents, interests and aspirations. Through high expectations, inspiring teaching and a wealth of enrichment opportunities, we help pupils develop the knowledge, skills and character they need for the future.

Our values of hope, creativity, friendship and respect are woven through daily life, shaping how we learn, work and care for one another. As a Church school, spirituality is central to our community. Collective worship, reflection and prayer encourage children to explore faith, develop compassion and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Our broad and engaging curriculum extends beyond the classroom, offering memorable experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Alongside this, our strong pastoral care ensures that wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusion remain at the heart of everything we do.

We value the partnership between home and school and believe children flourish when families and staff work together. Rather than holding traditional open days, we invite prospective parents to visit us during a normal school day to experience the warmth, relationships and learning that make our school so special. Please contact our school office to arrange an appointment.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Ribby With Wrea C.E. Endowed Primary School. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing our journey of learning and growth as we live Life in all its fullness together.
